Lalai has no separate app account: no Lalai username, password or email registration. Its free selection does not require a paid trial.↗
That keeps one decision out of the way when you want to listen. You can focus on choosing a story or a sound rather than setting up a new profile.
It is also a precise claim. “No Lalai account” does not mean your phone has no store account, or that a subscription can exist without a purchase record. If you choose paid access, the relevant store handles the purchase.
The app is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, with no sign-up. The audio previews on this website can also be played without registering, and the browser mixer does not save a profile.

Lalai’s policy says it has no advertising or analytics. It also describes the technical services needed to deliver files, manage paid access and distribute app updates.↗
For example, purchase-related processing uses a random customer identifier. Website and content requests include network information such as an IP address. Those details are why this page does not say that “nothing is collected” or that using the app makes you anonymous.
Your settings, saved mixes and downloads are described as staying on your device. A subscription and a local saved mix are different kinds of state; do not assume a new phone automatically receives every local preference.
When comparing another app, read its current registration flow and privacy policy. The absence of an item on a store label is not proof that no information is processed. This guide makes no blanket privacy ranking of competitors.
